Is Dr. Zhang accepting post-doc/graduate student applications?

Dr. Zhang is always on the lookout for qualified, highly motivated undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs interested in working in a collaborative, cutting edge research environment. The lab has a good track record, and current and previous lab members have excelled in their endeavors both during and following their time in the lab. Dr. Zhang is incredibly passionate about science, and hopes that anyone interested in working in her lab shares that passion.
 

What programs can i be in and join dr. zhang’s lab?

Dr. Zhang is a member of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology and accepts students from the Pharm/Tox program as well as the Cancer Biology GIDP. Other students can inquire if interested in doing a rotation/joining Dr. Zhang’s lab. Many students come to the Zhang lab via the Arizona Biological and Biomedical Sciences (ABBS) program.
 

Where are dr. zhang’s past students now?

Dr. Zhang’s past students are at a variety of positions in academia and industry. These include a post-doc at the Mayo Clinic, an editor for Cancer Cell, an assistant professor at Baylor, a research assistant professor, and the founder of a biotech company. Former post-docs of Dr. Zhang have gone on to obtain a variety of faculty positions in the United States and China.
